Royal Courts of Justice

Working with the Royal Courts of Justice

The Men’s Room has launched an initiative to work with The Royal Courts of Justice to reduce crime committed by young black men. A project will commence in February 2006 where young black men, aged 15-20 will visit the court of Justice Lightman for the day. This will be a rolling programme over the year and could mean that up to 100 young black men benefit from the experience. The aim is to expose these men to the criminal justice system, let them experience how the judiciary works and gain an appreciation for what happens whenyou are on the wrong side of the law.
